Python Developer, London or Cambridge

Your Mission

• You will work with existing, and create new, data pipelines performing machine learning tasks
• You will develop and maintain REST APIs to leverage the pipelines by the wider ThoughtRiver product suite
• You will be responsible for ensuring all deliverables are full tested and scalable, and for delivering the production ready-product as a containerised solution
• You will work closely with our Data Scientists, responsible for turning cutting-edge research into deployable product

What you'll need to succeed:

• You've extensive experience of leveraging REST APIs to undertake application integrations
• You have extremely strong development skills in Python, using frameworks such as Django
• You are highly data proficient, have excellent knowledge of databases, message queues, and containerisation solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) and web development technologies, such as HTML/XML/JSON structures
• You have utilised and contributed towards API documentation platforms
• You produce full tested code, with full test coverage
• You are able to produce architectural designs for data pipelines, and should have experience in concurrent or parallel processing
• You have utilised authentication methods such as OAuth/JWT and SSO concepts
• Machine learning and natural language processing experience is a strong plus, though not essential
