Your Mission

  • Lead the design function, setting up the foundations of product design practice and bringing others along with you
  • Own design obstacles end to end, from discovery and definition through to solution development and delivery
  • Collaborate with the wider Technology team to craft intuitive features and take design from concept to implementation, improving the design quality of documentation, our websites and tooling.
  • Map user journeys; immerse yourself in the world of our customers, users and stakeholders. Talk to them, understand the context of our target market, accepting critiques and feedback as part of the creative process
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, using a variety of mediums, analysing results and presenting key findings
  • Illustrate design ideas with design comps, storyboards, user flows, wireframes and prototypes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You have worked in a start-up environment, building products that solve real problems.
  • You are able to clearly communicate design work and the rationale behind it and back it up with quantitative and qualitative user research data.
  • You are a self-starter who can work through ambiguity and autonomously complete a task from start to finish with minimal oversight.
  • You have experience (and understand the benefit) of prototyping before implementation using something like Framer (or even HTML & CSS).
  • You have strong UI design skills (over multiple roles) using Figma (or similar).
